Our Stunning
Muskoka Home
Our Muskoka facility is located two hours north of Toronto, just 25 minutes from the town of Bracebridge, Ontario.
We offer a site and facility maintained in excellent condition and featuring highly-developed program areas. All facilities at Wenonah meet and exceed the highest standards of the local Health and Fire Departments, and the Ontario Camps Association.
Camper Accommodations
Campers live in cabins while ROOTS, POLARIS, and WCIT participants make their home in tabins (platform tents). All cabins and tabins are a short walk from either a central male or female washroom and shower house. All gender washrooms are also available. Washroom facilities feature flush toilets, private showers, and multiple sinks.
Our recently renovated multi-season raised platform canvas tabins house between 6 – 8 participants, and feature bunk and single beds in each structure.
Each tabin is set up with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and there exterior lights throughout our ROOTS, POLARIS, and WCIT Villages.
The privacy of our Villages allows participants to enjoy a classic camping experience while remaining close to private washrooms and shower facilities.
ROOTS, POLARIS, and WCIT participants should bring their own sleeping bags and pillows.
The Applehouse Health Centre features 8 bedrooms, 4 washrooms, 2 reception rooms, a medical dispensary, laundry facilities, a wrap-around deck with a view of Clear Lake; and art on display was created by campers and other members of the Wenonah community.
NEW for the 2024 season at Wenonah is a 1000 sq foot addition set off the south side of the existing Health Centre, including 6 new bedrooms, an enhanced laundry facility and more additional sitting space.
The Health Centre is a magnificent space to look after campers’ needs during the Summer. Three nurses live in the Health Centre 24 hours a day, and have an extensive and modern facility at their disposal to help them ensure the health and safety of everyone.
