For many who have been involved at Camp in recent years, Ian is a familiar face and a well-respected member of our community. He’s been an active part of life at Wenonah since 2009 and a member of our staff team for the past six years. Ian has had multiple senior roles at Camp including Boys Section Director and last season, Ian was one of our WCIT Directors. Ian has also been a central figure with The Camp Wenonah Centre for Outdoor Education over the past three seasons where he has impacted hundreds of students as a Group Coordinator.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Ian brings to our fulltime staff team a set of progressive skills and experiences in team leadership, communication and problem solving. Ian is experienced at managing and working in environments that emphasize collaboration and cooperation to achieve exceptional outcomes. We are delighted to have Ian lead our Summer Camp staff team and engage our next generation of campers.

Most importantly, Ian’s love and appreciation of all that Camp offers will be a strong foundation upon which we continue to create memories, moments and magic on the shores of Clear and Saw Lakes. And Ian comes from a family that has strong ties to the camping community. Ian’s grandmother was a staff member with the Canadian Camping Association over 40 years ago!

Ian begins in our Burlington Office on November 1st and looks forward to the work ahead as we continue to count down to the start of Summer Camp 2019.

WELCOME ABOARD IAN!
