Buy A Brick

Carrying on the tradition of past Anniversary seasons, Wenonah will once again be raising funds for a major capital build as we celebrate our 25th anniversary.

For Wenonah’s 25th Anniversary, the new Caron Brick Centre (Welcome Centre) will be the beneficiary of all funds raised. We are building a brand-new Office and General Store at the very front of the property to accurately reflect the new entrance to Camp after the campground purchase in 2016. This will also allow us to reimagine the current Office and General Store as a much-needed new Program Centre and supply depot. The Caron Brick Centre space will provide a more efficient and effective first encounter at Camp and yes, an even better “Welcome to Wenonah” The new space also allows Wenonah to return to a full-service General Store (with merchandise and snack options).

Past Building Initiatives

Thanks to the Wenonah community that made these projects possible in past milestone seasons:

For Wenonah’s 10th Anniversary, funds were raised for the addition to the existing (circa 1965) Health Centre.  This addition allowed for Wenonah to welcome and care for large numbers of children with special medical needs. Over the years, this has included Camp Jumoke and Camp Kivita.

For Wenonah’s 20th Anniversary, funds were raised for a major expansion of the Graydon & Irene Boyes Main Lodge (also circa 1965).  This included a significant addition on the Lodge itself plus the building of a new Bake Shop, the partial enclosure of the deck (creating The Porch) and the reimagining of the Lodge Deck.  This has dramatically enhanced all aspects of our food service operation and added greatly to our overall experience.

Contributions to the Buy A Brick campaign in support of the Caron Brick Centre will be acknowledged at the following levels:

  • $5,000 +              TOGETHER

  • $2,500 +              ON THE LAKE

  • $1,000 +              PADDLE

  • $500 +                 LAUGHTER
