Jobs at Wenonah
Camp Wenonah staff are summer camp and outdoor education professionals, teachers, university and college graduates/students (plus some senior high school students in junior staff roles) that share one thing in common: they are committed to providing each Wenonah participant with a positive and lasting Camp experience. Wenonah typically has 80-85 full-time Summer Camp jobs available each season, and 10-15 full-time Outdoor Education Centre jobs available in the Spring (May-June) and Fall (September-October).
Staff are selected for their capabilities as positive role models and for their abilities to work with and lead children and youth. All Wenonah program and counselling staff members have current certification in lifeguarding (minimum Bronze Cross…NLS preferred) and first aid, and specialize as instructors in multiple Camp program areas.
Staff hiring typically begins in October, and Summer Camp and Spring Outdoor Centre job offers are sent out in January. Fall Outdoor Centre jobs offers are sent out as positions are filled.
