We are located east of Bracebridge in the Muskoka region of Ontario (two hours north of Toronto). The main Camp area comprises one hundred acres of spectacular forests, including twenty-four acres of pristine, untouched wilderness in the heart of the rugged Muskoka woods.

With a Management Team that provides year-round, full-time direction to all aspects of the Wenonah experience and a 90% returning staff rate, Wenonah’s dedicated staff form the heartbeat of this community. Our team strives to create a warm, nurturing environment where each camper feels seen, celebrated, and supported.

Safety is the cornerstone of our Summer Camp experience. We are proudly accredited by the Ontario Camps Association and affiliated with the Life Saving Society of Canada and the Red Cross. Our rigorous safety protocols allow our campers to explore and grow, while families can feel secure in the knowledge that their well-being is our foremost priority.

The world trusts Wenonah as a cherished home away from home, where campers can chase their dreams in the company of their caring and committed Camp family. Camp is home to 250 campers and 100+ staff members. Over 80% of our campers return to Wenonah year after year, allowing children and youth to build upon the personal growth they achieved in previous summers.

The Health Centre features 8 bedrooms, 4 washrooms, 2 reception rooms, a medical dispensary, laundry facilities, a wrap-around deck with a view of Clear Lake; and art on display was created by campers and other members of the Wenonah community. Our recently renovated multi-season raised platform canvas tabins house betwen 6 – 8 participants, and feature bunk and single beds in each structure. Each tabin is set up with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and there exterior lights throughout our ROOTS, POLARIS, and WCIT Villages. Our traditional wooden cabins house can accommodate 10 to 14 campers and two staff members. All cabins feature bunk beds. Mattresses are provided in the cabins. With safety always top of mind, each cabin is equipped with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, indoor/outdoor lighting and electrical outlets.  Campers should bring their own sleeping bags and pillows.
