Each Summer, Wenonah welcomes hundreds of children and youth to Camp from communities across Ontario and from over 20 countries around the world. Our goal for each child is to have a safe, fun, and memorable Summer Camp experience with us. We want our campers to learn about themselves and the world around them while at Camp. 80% of our campers return to Wenonah each year, allowing them to build upon achievements from previous Summers and renew friendships with other campers.

We believe that the Summer Camp experience can have a life-long impact on a child. Camp provides a child with opportunities to become more independent, foster their self-esteem, make new friends, learn new skills, and develop an appreciation for the natural world. Our child-centred approach combined with a modern facility and a fully qualified, dynamic staff team ensures the highest quality experience for every Wenonah camper.

Located in the breathtaking Muskoka region of Ontario, Wenonah offers Summer Camp and leadership development programs for children 5-17 years of age. Our one month model combined with two week options and short stay introductory periods provides something for everyone!

As the Founder and Owner of Wenonah, I take great pride in the experiences provided for our campers. My first year attending Summer Camp was 1968 and I loved it! I experienced first-hand the many benefits of Summer Camp (greater independence, growing confidence, a sense of belonging, valuable principles of community living, a very real connection to the natural world and lifelong memories) and it continues to be a huge part of my life over 55 years later. I’m pleased that my three daughters (Sydney Feore, Madison Bradshaw, and Chelsea Bradshaw) have come to understand, appreciate and grow through Summer Camp just as I have and now continue with active roles as next generation Wenonah ownership. My inaugural season as a Camp Director was in 1982 and every year since, the commitment to providing a Summer Camp experience of the highest order has never wavered. We are very proud of Wenonah and equally of the generations of campers that have grown through our unique programs.

Wenonah is an accredited member camp of the Ontario Camps Association and an active member of both the Canadian Camping Association and the International Camping Fellowship. I was pleased to serve as President of the Canadian Camping Association for four years, President of the Ontario Camps Association (OCA) for two years, and I currently serve as Vice President of International Camping Fellowship (ICF), continuing a (close to) 30 year commitment of service to the ICF Board. We are proud of our unparalleled reputation as a Summer Camp destination both here in Canada and around the world.
