Working With Us?

Camp Wenonah staff are summer camp and outdoor education professionals, teachers, university and college graduates/students (plus some senior high school students in junior staff roles) that share one thing in common: they are committed to providing each Wenonah participant with a positive and lasting Camp experience.

Wenonah typically has 100 – 110 full-time Summer Camp jobs available each season, and 10-15 full-time Outdoor Education Centre jobs available in the Spring (May-June) and Fall (September-October).

Staff are selected for their capabilities as positive role models and for their abilities to work with and lead children and youth. Wenonah program and cabin staff members have current certifications in lifeguarding (minimum Bronze Cross while NL (National Lifeguard) is preferred) and Standard First Aid with CPR C. Many staff specialize as instructors in multiple Camp program areas.

Staff hiring typically begins in October, and Summer Camp and Spring Outdoor Centre job offers are sent out in January and February. Fall Outdoor Centre job offers are sent out as positions are filled.
