5-6 Years
3 days / 2 nights
WEEnonah

Embark on a magical first Summer Camp adventure with WEEnonah, where 5 to 6-year-olds enjoy a safe, fun-filled 3-day introduction to Camp life. Our small-group settings and diverse activities like arts, archery, and canoeing encourage independence and curiosity. For memories that last a lifetime, and the start of a journey towards growth and confidence, look no further than WEEnonah.

8-12 Years
7 days / 6 nights
Introductory Periods
One-week periods are designed as a shorter alternative to the traditional two or four-week periods, providing an opportunity for campers to experience some of our “best of” activities and programs. These periods can be an excellent option for first-time campers or for those who prefer a shorter stay. One-week periods serve to introduce campers to many favourite Camp activities and general Camp life in a supportive, nurturing, and safe community.

Overnight Camp
Set sail for adventure during our 1-month and 2-week periods, the ultimate option for 8 to 15-year-olds! Our immersive Summer Camp program is packed with excitement and learning, offering a balance of personal choice and group activities. Engage in a broad array of activities from wilderness expeditions to watersports, all while forging friendships under the stars. (Senior Camper Program Option)

Leadership Programs
Chart a course for the future with Wenonah’s Leadership Programs, POLARIS and WCIT, for ages 16-17. These programs are a launchpad into advanced leadership and outdoor skills, paving the way for young adults to become confident leaders. Engage in dynamic workshops, wilderness trips, and leadership challenges in an environment that fosters growth and community.

The world trusts Wenonah as a cherished home away from home, where campers can chase their dreams in the company of their caring and committed Camp family. Camp is home to 250 campers and 100+ staff members. Over 80% of our campers return to Wenonah year after year, allowing children and youth to build upon the personal growth they achieved in previous summers.

Safety

Safety is the cornerstone of our Summer Camp experience. We are proudly accredited by the Ontario Camps Association and affiliated with the Life Saving Society of Canada and the Red Cross. Our rigorous safety protocols allow our campers to explore and grow, while families can feel secure in the knowledge that their well-being is our foremost priority.

Experienced Staff

With a Management Team that provides year-round, full-time direction to all aspects of the Wenonah experience and a 90% returning staff rate, Wenonah's dedicated staff form the heartbeat of this community. Our team strives to create a warm, nurturing environment where each camper feels seen, celebrated, and supported.

Location

We are located east of Bracebridge in the Muskoka region of Ontario (two hours north of Toronto). The main Camp area comprises one hundred acres of spectacular forests, including twenty-four acres of pristine, untouched wilderness in the heart of the rugged Muskoka woods.
